Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara tropis memiliki kekhasan bahan alami yang bersumber dari flora asli dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai antimikroba yaitu madu kelulut dan belimbing wuluh. Kedua bahan alami tersebut dapat digunakan untuk menghambat pertumbungan bakteri Pseudomonas Aerugenosa. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen murni laboratoris in vitro dengan pendekatan post test control only design, analisis data dengan Uji Independent Sample Kruskal Wallis dan selanjutnya Uji Post Hoc Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan adanya perbedaan antara madu kelulut dengan daun belimbing wuluh pada setiap konsentrasi 50% dan 100% terhadap daya hambat bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa dengan nilai signifikansi p= < 0,001. Dan berdasarkan uji Mann-Whitney tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara madu kelulut dan daun belimbing wuluh terhadap daya hambat pertumbuhan bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa
