MANUSCRIPT FORMAT
Manuscript should be uploaded to Jurnal Dunia Keperawatan (JDK) system and arranged in Jurnal Dunia Keperawatan (JDK), standard format, Title, Authors, Address and Email, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Result and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment and References. Typed at one side of white paper of A4 size, in a single column, 1 space line, 11 point Times New Roman font and should be given line numbers. Margins on all four sides are 2 cm.
MANUSCRIPT TITLE
Title, consist of no more than 15 words. It should be written clear and concise in describing the contents of the research. (Times New Roman, 12 points font, 1 space, uppercase, center alignment)
AUTHORS
Full names of authors (without academic title); author’s affiliation [institution(s)]; corresponding author’s name, mailing address, e-mail address of the author responsible for correspondence about the manuscript (E-mail address of the corresponding author will be published along with the article) (Times New Roman, 11 points font, 1 space).
ABSTRACT
The abstract should be prepared in English and Indonesian. State the objective specific and clearly, as to what it is to be obtained. Give a brief account of the methods. State results succinctly. State conclusions or recommendations and link them to the significance of the work. Abstract should not be more than 200 - 250 characters which has no reference and accompanied keywords. Abstract must be integrated and independent which consist of introduction, purpose, methods, results, and conclusion. (Times New Roman, 10 points font, 1 space)
KEYWORDS
The key words and phrases following the Abstract should be alphabetically arranged and should reflect the contents of the paper. Manuscript should have keywords 3-5 words or phrases. (Times New Roman, 10 points font, 1 space)
INTRODUCTION
Presents brief and clear information concerning background and purpose of the research. Introduction contains justification of the importance of the study conducted. Novelty generated from this study compared the results of previous studies or the umbrella of existing knowledge needs to be clearly displayed. Complete it with main reference used. State in one sentence question or research problems that need to be answered by all the activities of the study. Indicate the methods used and the purpose or hypothesis of the study. The introduction does not exceed five paragraphs. (Times New Roman, 11 points font, 1 space)
METHODS
Method contains the design, the size, criteria and method of sampling, instruments used, and procedures collecting, processing, and analysis of the data. When using a questionnaire as instrument, explain the contents briefly and to measure which variables. Validity and reliability of instruments should also be explained. In the experimental or intervention studies need to be explained interventional procedure or treatment is given. In this section it should explain how research ethics approval was obtained and the protection of the rights of the respondents imposed. Analysis of data using computer programs needs not be written details of the software if not original. Place/location of the study is only mentioned when it comes to study. For the qualitative study, in this section needs to explain how the study maintain the validity (trustworthiness) data obtained. The methods section written brief in two to three paragraphs. (Times New Roman, 11 points font, 1 space)
RESULT AND DISCUSSION
Result and discussion must be written in the same part. They should be presented continuously start from the main result to the supporting results and equipped with a discussion. Unit of measurement used should follow the prevailing international system. All figures and tables in manuscript should be active and able to be edited by editor. (Times New Roman, 11 points font, 1 space)
CONCLUSION
Conclusion section consist of conclusion and recommendation. Conclusion should be explained clearly. Conclusions section is written in narrative form. The conclusion is the answer of the hypothesis that leads to the main purpose of the study. Recommendation for further research can be written in this section. (Times New Roman, 11 points font, 1 space)
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT (OPTIONAL)
Acknowledgments should be limited to the appropriate professionals who contributed to the paper (e.g., technical help and financial or material support, any general support by a department chairperson). (Times New Roman, 11 points font, 1 space)
REFERENCES
Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Articles have 15 recent references or over and 60% is journal. The most of references are primary ones (last ten years). Use the style of the examples below, which are based on Vancouver. Authors are recommended to use reference management software, in writing the citations and references such as Mendeley®, Zotero, or EndNote.
