Dunia Keperawatan follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee for Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) in dealing with all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct. All studies must be conducted with high ethical standards and comply with local regulations and standards for oversight and approval.

The research described in your article must be done according to the Code of Ethics of the World Medical Association (Declaration of Helsinki) for experiments involving human beings; EC Directive 86/609/EEC for animal experiments. Jurnal Dunia Keperawatan adapts COPE to meet high-quality, ethical standards for publishers, editors, authors, and reviewers. As an essential issue, publication ethics must be clearly explained to improve the quality of research worldwide. This section describes the standards for Editors, Authors, and Reviewers. In addition, the publisher has no right to interfere with the integrity of the content and only supports timely publication.

For Editors

1. Editors must be responsible for every article published in Dunia Keperawatan. Editors should assist authors in following the instructions for authors that we have adopted from the ICMJE.
2. Editors may communicate with other editors or reviewers when making final decisions.
3. Editors should evaluate manuscripts objectively for publication, judging each on its quality without regard to the Author's nationality, ethnicity, political beliefs, race, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation.
4. Editors should decline assignments when there is a potential conflict of interest.
   Editors should ensure that documents sent to Reviewers do not contain information from the authors and vice versa.
5. Editors' decisions should be communicated to the authors and the Reviewers' comments unless the comments are offensive or libellous.
6. Editors should respect requests from authors that one should not review a submission if this is reasonable and practicable.
7. Editors and all staff should ensure the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
8. Editors will be guided by the COPE flowchart when there is suspected misconduct or disputed authorship.

For Reviewers

1. Reviewers should comment on ethical questions and potential misconduct in research and publication.
2. Reviewers will perform their work promptly and should notify the Editor if they cannot complete the work.
3. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript.
4. Reviewers should not accept review manuscripts where there is a potential conflict of interest between them and any of the authors.

For Authors

1. Authors confirm that the material has not been published before and that they have not transferred any rights to the article to another place.
2. Authors must ensure the originality of the work and that they have cited the work of others correctly according to the reference format.
3. Authors must not engage in plagiarism or self-plagiarism. 'Salami' publication is strictly prohibited in Dunia Keperawatan.
4. Authors must ensure that they follow the authorship criteria taken from the ICMJE, which are described in the instructions for authors of Dunia Keperawatan.
5. The authors do not suggest any personal information that can make the patient's identity identifiable in the form of any descriptive part, photos, or pedigrees. When patient images are essential and necessary as scientific information, the Author has received written consent and stated it clearly.
6. In terms of human experiments, the Author has stated that the research process is by the ethical standards of the Helsinki Declaration, the domestic and foreign committees leading human experiments. If there is any doubt whether the research was conducted by the declaration, the author must explain it.
7. In the case of animal experiments, the author stated that they followed domestic and foreign guidelines related to laboratory animal experiments.
8. The Author must provide data and details of the work to the Editor if there is any suspicion of falsification or fabrication of data.
9. The Author must clarify anything that may cause a conflict of interest, such as employment, research costs, consultant fees, and intellectual property in the ICMJE form disclosure document.
